Jazz vocalist Lena Seikaly’s singing is a rare combination of talent, brains and beauty. Steeped in the jazz tradition, Lena uses her incredible ear and knowledge of jazz harmony, along with her opera training (she used money won in an opera competition to fund her first jazz album) to perform songs from the American Songbook as well as tunes from the 1920’s and 30’s, as well as her original compositions. Her incredible ear and flexible voice allow her to be one of the best scatters of her generation. Lena has recorded, mixed and mastered 2 full-length albums with engineer Jeff Gruber at Blue House Productions, and is a regular call for backup vocals and voice-over projects at the studio.
