World-class rooms, microphones, and engineers in DC, Maryland, and Virginia
From soloists to orchestras and a cappella groups to rock bands, Blue House Productions provides a flexible recording environment with experienced engineers. Choose ensemble recording in the same room for feel and interplay, or take advantage of complete isolation for total control in the mix.
We offer two recording studios to accommodate any project. Our Silver Spring studio boasts four rooms of isolation, a Steinway B grand piano, and world‑class mic pres and microphones.
Our Kensington facility features ceiling‑mounted theatre lighting and a very large soundstage with modular walls that can be assembled to create up to seven separate rooms when multi‑instrumental tracking is required. The room houses a beautiful Yamaha C7 grand piano with custom upgrades, and access to our entire mic locker.
