Domenic Sabol Blue House Engineer-Producer with X-Project

Last week we had the pleasure of working with X-Project here at Blue House Productions.

The energetic duo comprised of Saal and Slez has won multiple awards in Nigeria and Sierra Leone including the KORA AWARD nomination for West Africa best Artist/Group 2008/2009 and won the Nigeria Music Video Award (NMVA) 2013, for Best Contemporary Afro Beat Video. They had a long standing ambition to define standards for Afro, R&B, Hip Hop & Dancehall tunes. Their debut album, “Tumba Dance” was originally released in Freetown in 2004, while their second effort “Dance for Me” was released in Sierra Leone in early 2005 and in Nigeria in August of 2005. The group made an outstanding impact in the Nigerian and Sierra Leonean music industry. They are now in Washington, DC and are working on their new album. Our sound engineer, Domenic Sabol, mixed one of their many new songs and they are currently in preproduction for a music video. They spent a lot of time at the Blue House sound stage in Kensington, Maryland, mixing their own blend of EDM flavored Pop. Sam (X-Project’s manager) was excited with the results. Check out a sneak peek to their new song “Spend My Money” below and tell us what you think in the comments. Everyone here at Blue House is excited about X-Project, this is just the beginning of a huge collaboration with X-project, there is a music video in the pipeline and many more songs. Be ready the will be performing on DC stages soon. You can check out X-Project on their website xproject.com.ng or facebook, or subscribe to our blog and Blue House will keep you updated with the latest X-Project news.
